The short version
- No account. There is no sign-up and no login. Your progress is saved only on your iPhone.
- We have no game server. We, ELAQ Limited, do not receive your save, your progress or your play history.
- Ads come from AppLovin MAX and its partners. To show ads, they receive usage, device and ad-interaction data. They receive your device's advertising identifier only if you allow tracking when iOS asks.
- Apple handles payments. We never see your card or Apple Account details.
- Game Center is optional.
- We do not sell your data.
Who we are
Sweet Suites: Valet Jam (“the game”) is made and published by ELAQ Limited (“we”, “us”). This policy covers the game for iPhone and this website. For anything about privacy, email hello@sweetsuitesgame.com.
What stays on your device
The game keeps one save file in its private storage on your iPhone. It holds things like your level, coins, stars, boosters, lives, streaks, hotel progress, event progress, which purchases have been delivered, and your settings (sound, music, haptics, Reduce Motion, notifications).
That save is not sent to us or to anyone else. There is no account and no cloud save. If you back up your iPhone to iCloud or a computer, Apple's backup may include the save, as it does for most apps; Apple handles that backup under your Apple Account and we have no access to it.
Deleting the game deletes the save. Because we never had a copy, we cannot restore it for you. See Lost progress.
We do not include an analytics or crash-reporting SDK in the game. If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone's settings, Apple may give us aggregated, anonymous usage statistics and crash reports through App Store Connect. You can change that in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.
Advertising (AppLovin MAX)
The game is free because it shows ads. Ads are served by AppLovin MAX, an ad mediation service run by AppLovin Corporation, and by the advertising networks AppLovin works with to fill ad requests (its “partners”). When the game requests or shows an ad, the AppLovin SDK inside the game, and the partner that serves the ad, may receive:
- Device data: device model, iOS version, language and region settings, screen size, network type, and your IP address, from which an approximate location (such as country or city) can be inferred;
- Coarse usage data: general information about how the game is used, such as session start and length, that is used to choose, pace and measure ads;
- Ad-interaction data: which ads were requested and shown, whether you watched a rewarded ad to the end, and whether you tapped an ad;
- Diagnostic data about the ad SDK itself, such as crashes or load times;
- Your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), only if you allow tracking (see the next section).
AppLovin and its partners use this data to show ads, to limit how often you see the same ad, to measure whether ads work, to prevent fraud, and, if you allow tracking, to personalise ads. They process it under their own privacy policies. AppLovin's is at applovin.com/privacy, and it links to the partners it works with.
We do not receive this data about you as an individual. We see only aggregated reports, such as how many ads were shown and how much revenue they earned.
Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), the game asks for your consent before personalised ads are requested, and you can change your choice later in the game's Settings.
Ads in the game are set to general-audience content. If you buy Remove Ads, or make any purchase, interstitial and banner ads stop. Rewarded ads (the ones you choose to watch for a reward) are always optional.
Tracking and your choice
The game never asks to track you before you have played a few levels. After that, it explains what the request means and then shows Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt.
- If you tap “Allow”, AppLovin and its partners may receive your device's advertising identifier and use it, together with the data above, to show you ads that are more relevant and to measure ads across apps and websites owned by other companies.
- If you tap “Ask App Not to Track”, the advertising identifier is not shared, and the game works exactly the same. You still see ads, but they are not personalised using your activity in other companies' apps. Ad measurement then relies on Apple's SKAdNetwork, which reports ad results without identifying you.
You can change your choice at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
Purchases (Apple)
All in-app purchases are made through Apple's App Store and use Apple's StoreKit. Apple processes the payment. Through StoreKit, Apple tells the game on your iPhone which products you bought, so the game can deliver them and so Restore Purchases can bring back Remove Ads. We do not run a server that checks receipts, and we never receive your name, email address, payment details or Apple Account information.
Apple's handling of your purchases is covered by Apple's privacy policy. Apple may share aggregated sales reports with us through App Store Connect.
Game Center
Game Center is optional. If you are signed in to Game Center on your iPhone, the game uses it for a highest-level leaderboard, achievements and the weekly tournament. Apple shares your Game Center player identifier and display name with the game for this, and shows your scores to other Game Center players as your Game Center settings allow. Game Center is provided by Apple under Apple's terms and privacy policy. We do not store your Game Center data anywhere else. You can sign out in Settings › Game Center.
Opponents in the game's Rush Race events are computer-controlled and labelled as such; they are not real players and no data about you is shared with them.
Notifications
If you turn them on, the game schedules reminders on your iPhone, such as when your lives are full or an event is ending. These are local notifications created by your iPhone itself; we have no server that sends them and they involve no data leaving your device. You can turn them off in Settings › Notifications.
We do not sell your data
ELAQ Limited does not sell your personal information, and does not receive personal information about you that it could sell.
Under some US state laws, such as California's, letting an ad network use device data and identifiers for ads personalised across other companies' apps (“cross-context behavioural advertising”) can count as “sharing” or “selling”, even when no money changes hands for the data. To opt out of that, choose “Ask App Not to Track”, or turn off “Allow Apps to Request to Track” in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. You can also email us and we will help.
Legal bases (EEA and UK)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies:
- reading the advertising identifier and showing personalised ads rely on your consent, which you give or refuse through the consent and tracking prompts and can withdraw at any time;
- showing non-personalised ads, limiting ad frequency and preventing ad fraud rely on our legitimate interest in funding a free game;
- delivering purchases relies on performing our contract with you;
- answering your emails relies on our legitimate interest in helping you.
AppLovin and its partners may receive data on servers outside your country, including in the United States. They are responsible for providing appropriate safeguards for those transfers, as described in their privacy policies.
How long data is kept
Your save stays on your iPhone until you delete the game. Data held by AppLovin and its partners is kept for the periods set out in their privacy policies. If you email us, we keep the conversation only as long as we need it to help you, and delete it on request.
Children
The game is for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under the age of digital consent where you live). The game is not part of the App Store's Kids category.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used the game in a way that shared their data, email us at hello@sweetsuitesgame.com and we will help, including by contacting AppLovin on your behalf. You can also turn off tracking for your child's device in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking, and use Screen Time to restrict in-app purchases.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal data:
- EEA, UK and Switzerland (GDPR): to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, to withdraw consent at any time, and to complain to your local data protection authority.
- California and other US states (CCPA/CPRA and similar laws): to know what personal information is collected and how it is used and disclosed, to delete it, to correct it, to opt out of its sale or sharing, to limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not collect any), and not to be treated differently for using these rights.
Most of these rights are in your own hands: your save is on your iPhone, and deleting the game erases it; the tracking choice is in your iPhone's Settings. Because we have no account and no server, we hold no personal data about you that we can look up, export or delete. For data held by AppLovin and its partners, you can use the tools in their privacy policies, or email us and we will pass your request on and help you follow it up.
To make a request, email hello@sweetsuitesgame.com with the subject “Privacy request”. We will reply within one month (or 45 days where the CCPA applies). You may use an authorised agent. We may need to ask a question to confirm the request is genuine, but we will never ask for more information than we need.
This website
This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party scripts or fonts. It is hosted on GitHub Pages; like any web host, GitHub may process technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and secure the site, under GitHub's own privacy statement. We do not receive or use that data.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change means the game starts collecting new kinds of data, we will tell you in the game before it happens.
